About the Role

The successful candidate will be involved in checking, repairing, servicing and installing site services, machinery and equipment.

 

Knowledge, Skills and experience requirements

  • A formal electrical qualification, BS7671 preferred
  • Experience within a similar role that includes both electrical and mechanical responsibilities
  • Enjoys multi-tasking - the ability to successfully manage a varied workload
  • Knowledge / experience of working with PLC controls, analysing faults and providing solutions.
  • Experience of both reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of electrical and mechanical drawings and principles
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-skilled team of varying levels of technical experience.


Person Specification

Successful candidates will have the passion and pride to ensure all machinery on site operates to a level to ensure work is completed on time, right first time, along with the ability to work well as a team and to promote collaborative working across the site.  A proactive approach is essential to all aspects of the role, particularly with resolving problems and continuous improvement.

 

Hours of work; 46 hours per week, 7.00am-5.30pm Monday to Thursday with unpaid lunch break 12.30-1.00pm and 7.00am-13.00pm Friday

 

Salary: dependant on experience
