Corbenic Camphill Community

We are recruiting for a Part-Time Support Worker, working 22.5 hours a week across a variety of shifts. 

​​You will be working in a team of staff managed by a House Co-ordinator and Assistant House Coordinator focusing on aspects of care within one of our small cosy houses.

General Responsibilities will include:

  • Cooking and serving meals to residents.
  • Administer high quality and person-centred care to adults with a variety of learning disabilities ensuring their wellbeing at all times.
  • Assist with daily activities according to the wishes and needs of the resident, including transporting and accompanying them to health appointments and fun days out.
  • Administer medication and contribute to strict record keeping
  • Provide care for residents on outings and holidays on a one to one or group basis
  • Contributes towards assessments, care plans and attends resident reviews when required.
  • Works towards achieving SVQ3 in line with SSSC qualification and registration requirements
  • Personal care, including assisting in washing, dressing, undressing, using the toilet, changing sanitary products, bathing and so on
