The Logistics & Inventory Control Coordinator is an operational position that will support accountabilities necessary for the successful management, tracking, and reporting of physical equipment for all Event Staging business activity. The position will focus on equipment utilization and function as a primary liaison to the Warehouse and Operations teams, supporting production and transportation needs between warehouses, venues, and events. The position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Technical Operations and will be based out of our Event Staging Office in Linwood, Pa.

Position Accountabilities and Expectations:

·         Manage all freight and delivery logistics for the Linwood Warehouse.

·         Ensure accuracy of inventory to drive effective inventory-related business decisions. Monitor conformance to procedures by performing inventory control activities including tracking and updating timely transactions.

·         Monitor and audit inventory/equipment return to identify “missed” or “non-returned” items. Follow existing procedures for tracking and communicating with appropriate teams. Analyze processes and conditions to determine potential “missed” cause and recommend solutions for future quality standards.

·        Identify and manage all identified “out of commission equipment” for repair or replacement and ensure items are appropriately barcoded. Work with the management and controller for “decommissioning,” removal, or future potential purchase.

·        Utilize inventory system to create pull sheets for events: Review for accuracy making any required updates based on relevant quote changes. Highlight rooms and appropriate gear, sourcing sub-rentals, as necessary.

·        Manage Rental relationships, initiating and managing equipment sub-rentals, as necessary. Manage communications associated with event logistics distribution.

·       Assist in developing strategies for maximizing internal resources to lower costs.

·       Identify areas for improvement in efficiency and compliance, while appropriately communicating any inventory or equipment issues.

 

What you will bring:

·         2 or more years of Event Staging/Audio-Visual industry experience including logistics or rentals.

·        High school degree or trade school certification with at least 2 years of professional production planning or coordination

·         Must maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic and embrace a team environment.

·         Proficient PC knowledge and MS Office Suite

·         Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while being able to think creatively and effectively solve problems.

·         Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding environment.

·        Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a team and be able to solve problems independently and through collaboration with others.

·        Strong Written and verbal communication skills

·        Total commitment to service excellence in customer service and negotiation skills

·        Working Knowledge of Flex Rental Solutions or IntelliEvent rental software a plus
