Maintenance Engineer
Alpha Manufacturing, a member of The HEX Group, is a privately-owned business fabricating sheet metal in the UK. Alpha designs and produces both sheet metal work components and assemblies. Established in 1989, the company now employs over 180 people. Utilising industry leading technology, Alpha Manufacturing have facilities to design, prototype and manufacture a diverse range of products all in their purpose-built sheet metal fabrication factory in the heart of Staffordshire.
Having experienced significant growth and success over the last few years, we are looking to strengthen our team with the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer.
Role responsibilities:
· Maintenance of sheet metal fabrication machinery including;
· Amada press brakes
· Trumpf machinery including punches, lasers and press brakes
· Bystronic lasers including fibre
· Industrial powder coating equipment – Gema
· Maintaining LEV equipment
· Working on call one week in every four – holiday cover may be required
To be successful in this role the candidate will have the following:
- Experience of machinery used within a modern sheet metal fabrication company
- Mechanical bias
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible attitude to work
- Experience of TPM procedures
- Full driving licence
- Experience of PLC systems would be advantageous but not essential
- Electrical knowledge would be advantageous but not essential

Hours of work are 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
