Customer Services Agent

Location: Alderney Airport

We are looking for a motivated and professional Customer Services Agent to join our Alderney station team. Working under the supervision of the Station Manager, you will play a key role in delivering safe, efficient aircraft handling and an excellent level of passenger service.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, aircraft handling, and ramp operations in a dynamic airport environment.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting aircraft arrivals and departures, including ramp attendance, vehicle and stand checks, and aircraft shutdown procedures
Ensuring safety equipment and ground handling vehicles are checked and operated in line with company procedures
Passenger check-in and departure control using the DCS system
Loading and off-loading baggage and freight accurately and safely
Preparing aircraft for emergency evacuations when required
Operating telephone systems effectively
Maintaining high standards of service, safety, and personal appearance at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A full, clean driving licence
The ability to recognise and deal with challenges promptly and efficiently
A self-motivated, professional approach, with a willingness to take on additional responsibility
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A flexible approach to working hours, including late finishes due to operational delays
A proactive attitude to safety, including the ability to raise safety reports
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
