Description
Multi Skilled Tradesperson

The Multi Skilled Tradesperson will have a strong carpentry focus and will be responsible for delivering maintenance, repairs and refurbishments across a range of building systems and structures.
The responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
· Completed soft service reactive and proactive tasks including but not limited to carpentry, roof work, brickwork, paving, windows, ESD floor laying, ESD bench install, cabinet build and install, door manufacturing and fitting, painting, decorating and general refurbishments.
· Conduct routine inspections and report defects, hazards and follow-up work.
· Record work progress, completion and labor time accurately through the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
· Follow planned maintenance schedules to ensure timely and efficient task completion.
· Communicate and coordinate work with various trades and departments.
· Maintain tools, equipment and workspaces in safe and serviceable condition.
· Carry out work safety, report safety issues using the site reporting system and follow health and safety regulations, risk assessments and safe working practices.
Multi Skilled Tradesperson Specification:
· Right to live and work in the UK
· Completed apprenticeship in Carpentry, relevant trade or proven experience in a similar multi-trade role.
· Basic health & safety training (e.g. Manual handling, working at height, asbestos awareness)
· Proven experience in first and second fix carpentry.
· Experience in cabinet and bench making.
· Proficient in other trades such as painting and decorating, roofing repairs and flooring.
· Experience of using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
· Ability to read, understand and work to drawings and plans
This role will be worked over a 4.5 day week; Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:45 and Friday 08:00 – 12:30.
