RKW Ltd is seeking a highly organised and proactive Senior Warehouse Supervisor to support the Night Shift Warehouse Manager in overseeing all operations at our Distribution Centre, located in Stone, Staffordshire.

Role Details :

• Hours : 6pm – 6am
• Shift Pattern : 4-on-4-off
• Reporting to : Warehouse Night Shift Manager

Working collaboratively with the Warehouse Manager you will be Supervising a number of different departments (Goods In / Stock Control / Rework / Goods Out / Post) which will have multiple Team Leaders within those departments which will report in you, ensuring the correct, safe, efficient running of each department within the Warehouse. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You will be able to demonstrate previous, similar experience within a warehouse environment, working under your own initiative, using analytical approaches to your tasks.

Responsibilities & Duties :

• Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will provide effective cover, as and when required.
• Enforce company rules and regulations
• Enforce health standards, safety and security procedures
• Lead, motivate and develop a team employed to carry out warehouse tasks accurately and efficiently
• Coach and train other members of the team to meet the required quality and accuracy standards for any process undertaken
• Ensure all members of the team understand the required standards
• To make sure the sickness and absence procedures are followed correctly
• Supervise the safe use, charging and repairs of FLTs
• Monitor use of materials, such as shrink wrap, pallets etc
• Monitor proper use of scan guns, ensuring dealing with any issues, faults, damages etc
• Ensure the Warehouse is Kept in a clean, tidy and organised at all times
• Support the shift Manager in the day to day running of the warehouse as required
• Resolving warehouse queries for shortages and delivery issues as required
• Following all instructions given by Managers and Directors
• Ensure that WMS is used correctly, updated and communicated effectively
• Demonstrate responsibility for all aspects of the management of stock
