Description
The City of Woodburn is looking for a part-time, Dial-a-Ride Transit Driver to operate a para-transit van to transport riders to and from locations for medical appointments within the city on a scheduled or on demand basis. Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm, depending on demand, not to exceed 19 hours per week.

WoodburnTransit Service provides safe and reliable public transportation for people traveling within the Woodburn region and strives to provide residents, visitors, and workers traveling to and from Woodburn with efficient and convenient regional transportation connections. Upon hire, we will provide you with Drug & Alcohol training, as well as training in wheel chair and passenger assistance.
High school degree or G.E.D., and one year of work experience involving face-to-face public contact, driving experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Applicants must pass the pre-employment background check; have a valid Oregon class C driver's license and ability to meet the City of Woodburn's driving standards; and must have a flexible schedule. Valid Oregon class B (CDL) license with passenger endorsement or learner's permit, one year driving a bus or transit van with a wheel-chair lift; and bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Applicants must pass the pre-employment drug test under FTA regulations.
