Description

Role Purpose

The Recruitment & Talent Coordinator will support the delivery of a smooth and positive end-to-end recruitment process across the business. This is an operational, hands-on role focused on coordinating recruitment activity, supporting hiring managers, and delivering an excellent candidate experience.

The role offers the opportunity to develop recruitment expertise and, over time, take on broader talent and development responsibilities, including talent pipelining, employer branding, and internal progression initiatives.

 

Role Accountabilities

Recruitment Coordination & Delivery

·         Support hiring managers with recruitment activity, including role briefs, job descriptions, adverts, and interview scheduling.

·         Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process from advert posting through to offer and onboarding.

·         Draft and post engaging, inclusive job adverts across appropriate recruitment channels.

·         Conduct CV screening, longlisting, and initial telephone or video screening interviews.

·         Proactively search for suitable candidates using CV databases and professional networking tools.

·         Maintain timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview feedback.

·         Support offer administration and coordination of pre-employment checks.

 

Candidate Experience & Talent Pooling

·         Ensure a positive, fair, and inclusive candidate experience at every stage.

·         Build and maintain a talent bank of suitable candidates for current and future roles.

·         Engage with active candidates and support the development of talent pipelines.

·         Assist with initiatives that promote the organisation as an employer of choice, including careers content and social media support.

 

Systems, Reporting & Administration

·         Maintain accurate recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

·         Produce regular recruitment updates and basic reports for hiring managers and HR.

·         Support monitoring of recruitment activity and key metrics.

·         Ensure recruitment processes align with internal policies and best practice.

 

Talent & Development (Development Opportunity)

·         Support HR and line managers with internal talent initiatives, such as succession planning and career development activity.

·         Assist with identifying high-potential employees and supporting internal mobility processes.

·         Collaborate with the HR team on projects related to learning, development, and employee growth.

Other Role Responsibilities

  1. Provide ad hoc administrative and coordination support to the HR Department as required.
  2. Actively contribute to a collaborative and supportive Group Services team environment.
