Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Family Support Worker, who can support the management of the Reigate and Banstead Family Centres.

You will need to be organised, have excellent IT skills, good communicator and interpersonal skills. In return, we offer a supportive working environment, excellent staff benefits and comprehensive professional development opportunities.

Job Purpose: To provide focused 1-1 and group family support for families with children and young people aged 0-19 years old (up to 25 years for young adults with additional needs). This will be delivered either at the Family Centre, out in the community or in service users’ own homes.

You will case hold two days per week and will be required to work with families as a lone worker.

All services provided will support the delivery of the Family Support Specification, which aims is to enable children and families to achieve and improve outcomes.

Hours of work: 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Flexible options available.

Salary: £23,979-£27,422 per annum

Location: YMCA Mole Valley Family Centre, Goodwyns Road, Dorking, RH4 2LR

Annual leave: Five weeks plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time workers) Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of six weeks after six years’ service. (pro-rata for part time workers)

The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
