MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE JOB
As part of the digital marketing team, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing digital marketing strategies to enhance our online presence and drive business growth.
Flexibility is essential at Wren Laboratories, with all teams working closely together to support and develop the ‘Optibac’ brand, so occasional additional support duties may be required in other areas of the business.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILTIES

General Digital Marketing:
- Work alongside the Digital Marketing Manager to implement and execute a multi-channel digital marketing strategy, integrating SEO, email marketing, paid social media, and website optimisation to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including e-commerce, brand and technical teams, to ensure digital marketing initiatives and brand message align with overall business objectives.
- Analyse and interpret performance data across all digital channels, identifying key trends, insights, and areas for optimisation to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Develop and present data-driven reports and recommendations to key stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement of digital marketing efforts.
Paid Social:
- Execute, and optimise paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram) plus other relevant channels to maximize reach and conversions.
- Continuously monitor campaign performance, making real-time optimisations to improve ad effectiveness and ROAS.
- Work closely with the brand and design teams to brief and develop compelling ad creatives that align with brand messaging and strategic objectives.
- Write engaging ad copy and set up campaigns within ad platforms, ensuring proper audience targeting, tracking, and budget allocation.
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, audiences, and placements to refine strategies and improve campaign results.
- Collaborate with organic social team
Email Marketing:
- Plan, create, and execute data-driven email marketing campaigns that nurture leads, drive customer retention, and increase conversions.
- Develop targeted audience segmentation strategies to deliver personalised, relevant content that enhances engagement and customer experience via triggered emails.
- Continuously analyse email marketing performance metrics identifying trends and optimisation opportunities.
- Implement A/B testing on subject lines, content, and send times to refine email strategies and maximise engagement.
- Lead initiatives to grow the email database through acquisition campaigns, lead generation, and sign-up incentives while maintaining list hygiene and deliverability.
Website Content:
- Work closely with the Digital Content Executive to ensure website content is consistently updated, accurate, engaging, aligns with brand messaging and complies with regulation, always ensuring content is optimised for SEO and AI.
- Use CMS to make updates to content to enhance user experience and customer journey.
- Review website performance using tools like Google Analytics, identifying user behaviour trends and conversion opportunities to inform website enhancements.
- Set up promotions and execute on-site activity to maximise campaign awareness and drive revenue.
Refer-a-Friend Program:
- Lead the development and ongoing optimisation of the refer-a-friend program to drive customer acquisition, loyalty, and organic brand growth.
- Implement targeted strategies to increase program participation, leveraging incentives, email reminders, and sharing features.
- Monitor and analyse referral program performance, using insights to refine marketing tactics, improve conversion rates, and maximize effectiveness.
