Hours: 30 hours (worked over 4 or 5 days)
Pro rata salary: £20,200 (£25,250 FTE)
Base: Clacton (occasional travel to Colchester required)

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic person to join our established Support Time and Recovery (STaR) team in North Essex. We are looking for applicants who have;
• Enthusiasm for working in a community setting
• Who are adaptable; enjoy variety and can work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
• A creative approach to solving different kinds of complex practical issues
• The ability to explore and identify different solutions through networking and researching
Working alongside the clinicians of Therapy For You, and as part of the national programme of NHS Talking Therapies, the Support Time and Recovery (STaR) worker will guide and empower clients, experiencing an emotional or mental health condition, by providing support with any practical concerns or difficulties that might be affecting their mental wellbeing. This includes housing, social isolation, benefits, debt management and employment problems.
You will be traveling and working with clients throughout the North East of Essex, focusing mainly on the Tendring area, therefore a car driver with access to a car or the ability to travel efficiently is essential.
