We’re Hiring: Cook for Early Years

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook for Early Years to join our team at our Taylors Hill creche in Rathfarnham. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nutritionally balanced meals tailored for children under five, in line with our nursery’s nutritional guidelines.

Minimum Qualification Required:

The ideal candidate MUST have a minimum of HACCP Training Level 3. (Successful candidates with Level 2 may be offered the Level 3 course.)

What We’re Looking For:

·       A genuine love for cooking and creating nutritious meals

·       Excellent cooking skills and creativity in the kitchen

·       Enthusiasm for working in a childcare environment

·       Strong motivation and a team-player mindset

·       Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations

·       Liaising with suppliers for food orders and maintaining stock levels

·       Creating delicious, nourishing dishes and menus for children

·       Implementing health and safety procedures in the kitchen

·       Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety awareness

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday : 20 -25 hours per week

Location:

Taylors Hill, Rathfarnham, South Dublin

Salary Range:

Depending on experience (DOE)
